Announcement of Rs 200,000 each for winner of T20 series

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 13 – The players of the winning Nepali team in the triangular T20 series will be awarded.

The winners of the series between Nepal, Papua New Guinea and Malaysia in Kathmandu from March 28 to April 4 will be awarded cash prizes.

A cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to award Rs 200,000 to each player of the Nepali national team. The cabinet meeting decided to award the series winners based on a proposal from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

According to the decision, each of the 16 players who competed in the series will receive Rs 200,000 in cash, while head coach Pubudu Dassanayake will receive Rs 150,000 and other officials will receive Rs 100,000 each.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has already awarded cash prizes to players who have won titles and finished second in various national and international competitions.
