KATHMANDU: APRIL. 13 – Subash Jamarkattel, a literary writer, celebrates his birthday with conflict-affected children. Subash celebrated the birth anniversary by handing over Rs 15,000 in cash along with educational materials to conflict-affected children, stating that the habit of wasting money on the pretext of celebrating a birthday has increased in today’s developed society.

Subash celebrated his birthday by visiting a Bal Aashram (orphanage) run with the goal of protecting the children of those who were martyred, injured, or disabled during the Maoist People’s War, which lasted ten years. Subash, who is also the leader of the Maoist Center in Solukhumbu, greeted the children after presenting them with cash and educational materials.

Pratik, the commander of the Maoist People’s War Battalion, has launched Bal Aashram, an integrated creative society, with the goal of protecting conflict-affected children. Subash arrived and celebrated his birthday. In the process, Pratik said, “Many of my friends have been martyred. Many have now reached the highest levels of government? Even so, I went to a children’s home for the purpose of caring for and protecting these orphans without government services. I’m happy about it. ‘

The children in the Bal Aashram, which was opened seven years ago, study from UKG to the undergraduate level.
