UML to elect Poudel as chairperson in Aandhikhola of Syangja

POKHARA: APRIL. 13 – UML is preparing to elect Bishwa Poudel in Syangja’s Aandhikhola Rural Municipality in the local level election on May 13.

Poudel, who is also the district’s deputy secretary, has been unanimously recommended for the position. Sita Thapa’s name has been proposed for the post of vice-chairperson of the municipality.

Sudhir Poudel of the UML is the current chairperson of Aandhikhola, with Sharmila Poudel of the former UML (now Unified Socialist) serving as vice-chairperson.

The ward candidates were unanimously recommended at the same meeting. Pawan Kaji Adhikari, Kamal Prasad Poudel, Singh Bahadur Chhetri, Krishna Paneru, and Yadu Dhakal are the names that have been finalized. Ward No. 3’s name has yet to be finalized.
