Maoist propaganda material: Image of Kulman removed after intense criticism

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 13 – Following widespread criticism, the Maoist Center, a ruling coalition partner, has removed an image of Electricity Authority Executive Director Kulman Ghising from its election campaign materials. The meeting was intensified after a photo of Kulman was included in the article titled ‘Meet for CPN-Maoist’. After that, Kulman’s picture was removed.

Along with Kulman, the image of Janardan Sharma, the former energy minister, has been removed. The image, which was made public via the official Facebook page of party chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ now only has Prachanda.

Earlier, UCPN (M) Chief Whip Dev Prasad Gurung stated that he would correct the query. Kulman also expressed his dissatisfaction.
