Jeep driver killed when a rock fell from a cliff

CHAINPUR: APRIL. 13- A driver was killed in a jeep accident in Kindral Bhir, Bhandebazar, Chhabis Pathibhera Rural Municipality -1, Bajhang district.

When a rock fell on the jeep (Se 1 Ja 676) on its way to Moribagar from Bahundanda in Chhabis Pathibhera Rural Municipality, it fell into the Seti River.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Gyan Bahadur Bista, the deceased has been identified as Jaya Bahadur Sarki, 50, of Bamandanda in Chhabis Pathibhera Rural Municipality-3.

The driver’s body was brought to Simkhet District Hospital for an autopsy. According to the police, there was no one else in the jeep.
