Oli urges Biplav not to fall prey to conspiracy to postpone elections
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 12 – CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has urged the Biplav not to fall prey to the conspiracy of the coalition to postpone the local elections.
On Tuesday, during a program organized by the CPN-UML Lalitpur District Committee in Siddhipur, Oli claimed that the ruling coalition was plotting to postpone the election.
He stated that the justification for postponing the election on May 13 in order to force the revolution to participate in the election would not be accepted. He advised Biplav to fight independently or to carry the Surya (Sun) sign if they wanted to run in local elections.
He accused the Prime Minister, Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal of trying to postpone the election.
He accused the Maoists of using a lid as the center, claiming that the center’s vessel was empty and only the lid remained. Similarly, Oli stated that the Maoist center and Madhav Kumar were only the Nepal Congress’s tail.
He claimed that the UML government did a lot of development work while the current government has been unable to do anything. He claimed that action was taken against the governor for refusing to agree on Rs 400 million in illegal funds.
Oli claimed that the UML was the party that was developing the country. He said that the UML government has done the construction of infrastructure from the existing highways. UML cadres from different parties were admitted in the program.
