KATHMANDU: APRIL. 12 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 26 more people in Nepal.

In this period, 2,866 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which returned 23 returned positive. Likewise, 1,212 underwent antigen tests for the virus, of which three tested positive.

The government claims there have been no COVID-19-related deaths.

Similarly, an additional 37 people have been cured, bringing the total number of people cured in Nepal to 966,111 so far. The country’s recovery rate is 98.7 percent and the death rate is 1.2 percent.

Currently, there are 554 active infected people in isolation in Nepal.
