KATHMANDU: APRIL. 12 – The government, according to Nepali Congress leader Shekhar Koirala, was irresponsible in taking action against the NRB governor at a time when the economy was in trouble.

On Tuesday, at a program hosted by the Nepal Civil Servants Union in Kathmandu, Koirala stated that the government had not done the right thing by taking action against the governor for attempting to improve the country’s economy.

He claimed that tussles between the finance minister and the governor occurred all over the world, but that the action taken in Nepal was unnecessary. He also stated that the government should give an answer to the people about the reason for appointing the disputed person.

He stated that Congress should not interfere in the selection of local-level candidates from the center.
