Foreign direct investment increased by 60 percent

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 12 – Foreign direct investment (FDI) has increased by 60 percent in the first eight months of the current fiscal year.

The current economic and financial situation report made public by Nepal Rastra Bank has mentioned this.

During this time, Nepal received net foreign investment of Rs. 16.30 billion. 10.18 billion in the same period the previous year.

During the review period, capital transfers decreased by 41.2 percent to Rs. 7 billion. Capital transfer increased by Rs. 11.91 billion in the previous year’s corresponding period.
