Baskota as mayor candidate of Kathmandu through Bibeksheel Sajha Party

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 11 – The Bibeksheel Sajha Party has decided to nominate Samiksha Banskota as the candidate for the post of Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

According to Sharad Raj Pathak, the party’s central executive meeting on Saturday decided to nominate Kirti Tuladhar as its deputy mayoral candidate.

Baskota, 38, had contested from Kathmandu Constituency No. 1 ‘A’ in the 074 state assembly election and is also the former coordinator of Bagmati state. She received 4,343 votes at that time

According to the Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Baskota and Tuladhar, both 62, will soon make their joint manifesto public.
