Land revenue office chief nabbed with bribe

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 11 – This morning, a team from the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Sunil Kumar Jha, the chief of the Dhanusha Land Revenue Office, with a bribe.

The CIAA Bardibas Office team nabbed Jha with a bribe of Rs 500,000 received from a service seeker. He was nabbed at a tea shop in Bhanuchowk, Janakpurdham.

The designated team had nabbed chief Jha after receiving a tip. According to Bardibas Office Chief Gopal Kumar Adhikari, further investigation into the case is underway.
