Government locked Batas Group’s hotel in Pashupati Dharamsala

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 8 – Pashupati Area Development Fund has locked Hotel Anand in Nepal-India Friendly Hospice (Dharmasala).

The fund posted a notice on the gate and locked it on Friday, informing them not to use the hotel’s contents. Earlier, when a government team carrying a letter to close the hotel attempted to enter the Hospice grounds, a representative of the Batas group set up a gate. As the dispute heated up, the fund shut down the main gate.

The fund had decided to terminate the agreement with Hotel Ananda Pvt. Ltd. on March 31, saying that it had acted against the agreement.
