Nepal’s first female CEO Anupama Khunjeli leaves Mega Bank

KATHMADNU: APRIL. 8 – Anupama Khunjeli, Nepal’s first female Chief Executive Officer (CEO), has taken leave from Mega Bank.

Khunjeli, Mega Bank’s CEO for the past four years, has left after her term was not renewed. Her term will be over in a few days. She has been in leave from office since Thursday.

On 2074 BS, Chaitra 30 (13 April, 2018), the Bank’s Board of Directors appointed Khunjeli as CEO for a four-year term Anil Keshari Shah was previously the CEO of Mega Bank.
