Barcelona were held to a draw

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 8 – Barcelona have been held to a draw by German club Frankfurt in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League. Barcelona and Frankfurt were held to a 1-1 draw in last night’s match.

Ansgar Knauff opened the scoring for Frankfurt in the 48th minute, while Ferran Torres equalized for Barcelona in the 66th minute.

In the 78th minute of the game, Frankfurt were reduced to 10 players after Frankfurt’s Tuta received a red card. The second leg of the quarterfinals will now take place on April 15 at Barcelona’s home ground.
