Nepal reports seven new COVID-19 infections

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 7 – According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally as of Sunday afternoon was 1,118,692.

The ministry said 7 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

During this time, 2,819 swab samples were tested using the RT-PCR method, with 7 of them returning positive results. Similarly, 1,849 people were tested for the virus’s antigen, with an additional zero people testing positive.

Another 25 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, while the government claims there have been no COVID-19-related deaths. Similarly, Nepal’s death toll to rise to 11,951.

So far, 965,847 people have recovered out of the total number of cases. There are currently 747 active cases across the country.

In the meantime, 50,093 people were vaccinated today.
