Jaycees International President & Vice-President arriving in Nepal
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 7 – Argenis Angulo, the International President of the Jaycees, and Vice-President Rakhi Jain arriving in Kathmandu.
As previously stated, President Argenis Angulo will arrive in Kathmandu today, while Vice-President Jain is scheduled to arrive here on Friday.
Vice-President Jain is an Indian citizen, whereas President Angulo is a Venezuelan national. The International President is returning to Nepal after a seven-year absence, according to Nepal Jaycees President Lalmani Bhandari.
Up through April 10th, the International President will be in Nepal. He will attend a number of activities, including the National Councilors Academy, which is part of the Nepal Jaycees Annual Programme, as well as a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and meetings with UN representatives.
JCI Nepal is a non-profit-making voluntary member-based organization of young active citizens aged 18 to 40 working in Nepal since 1964 for developing leadership, personality and entrepreneurship skill sof young people of Nepal. Dr Bhekh Bhadur Thapa is the founder and President of JCI Nepal.
JCI Nepal now has 172 chapters in Nepal while Jaycees international has a national working committee in 120 plus countries.
JCI members have the opportunity to hold local, national and international leadership positions, elected each year, within the organization. JCI’s “One Year to Lead” philosophy allows members to share their talents and fresh perspective with the organization while continuously adapting to the needs of the members, Bhandari informed.
