ESewa offers free credit card payments from any bank
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 7 – Credit card payments of any bank and financial institution can be made free of cost through eSewa, Nepal’s leading payment service provider. Such a feature was added by ESewa to encourage online credit card payments.
As a result, bank and financial institution credit card users are expected to be better at ease. The scheme will be in effect until April 30th. In recent days, the number of credit card users in Nepal has risen. There are currently about 50 banks and financial institutions in eSewa.
Users with eSewa accounts will be able to pay credit card amounts through nearby eSewa zones, points, and cash points, while those without eSewa accounts will be able to pay credit card amounts through nearby eSewa zones, points, and cashpoints.
ESewa has facilitated the economic transactions from the affluent areas of Nepal to the remote settlements through a digital medium. Mobile, telephone, internet, electricity and drinking water tariff, recharge, airplane, bus ticket, school and college fees etc. can be paid from the service.
ESewa currently has 51 banks and financial institutions as members. You can easily deposit money in eSewa from these banks and send money to bank account from eSewa.
