Commission changes 71 election officials (with list)

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 7 – The Election Commission (EC) has removed 71 election officials appointed for the local level election on May 13 within 10 days. They have been replaced by new staff.

According to the commission’s information, 71 election officials had been removed since Wednesday for ‘different reasons’ as per schedule 1 of the election officer published in Gorkhapatra on March 27.

In their stead, the commission has released a list of people who have been appointed as election officials. The commission has also given the newly appointed election officer till April 12 to appear at the designated location.
