Historic Harisiddhi dance of Dolakha completed

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 6 – The legendary/historic Harisiddhi Devi dance has been completed in Dolakha.

The legendary Harisiddhi Devi dance, which is performed in Lalitpur once every 12 years, is performed in Bhaktapur, Dhulikhel, Panauti and Pashupati outside the Harisiddhi area.

According to Linda Elliott, a professor at the University of Washington, “the Harisiddhi dance of Lalitpur has also been brought to Dolakha.” According to a cultural expert, this dance was brought to Dolakha this year as well.

The deities performed ritual worship and performed a mythical dance at Chakra Dabli near the Taleju temple in Raj Kuleshwar.
