Oli claims that dry port of Chobhar built during UML government
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 6 – KP Sharma Oli, Chairperson of the CPN-UML, stated that Congress tried three times to prevent the Prime Minister from laying the foundation stone for the Chobhar Dry Port.
On Wednesday, during the inauguration of the rebuilt Shree Shanti Niketan Secondary School in Sipadol, Bhaktapur, Oli stated that the construction was completed by the UML government and was inaugurated by current Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
He stated that the port, which was built by the UML government after numerous setbacks, was relieved to finally be operational. He stated that the UML government has done a lot of development work and that after five years in office, the foundation stone laying and inauguration work will be stepped up.
He described the current coalition as a rotten alliance and stated that after the rotten alliance collapsed, the country would resume its development path. The current government formed after the Supreme Court, according to Oli, has hampered the country’s development work.
Chairperson Oli stated that the programs implemented by the previous UML government to develop the education sector would be prioritized after the UML government takes over. Those who contributed to the school’s reconstruction were recognized in the program.
