Govinda Raj’s son to become Byas mayor
POKHARA: APRIL. 6 – Byas Municipality of Tanahun is the municipality won by the Nepali Congress candidate with huge votes. Former Joint General Secretary Govinda Raj Joshi, who campaigned against the Congress in state and union elections, believes the Congress candidate lost. Joshi’s son has announced his intention to run for mayor of Byas Municipality.
Deepak Raj Joshi, an engineer, has opened a liaison office in Byas. Joshi had a long history of involvement in Nepal Student Union politics. After he returned to Nepal after working as an electrical engineer in the United States for a long time, he stated that the country’s politics should be improved from the ground up.
After establishing the office on Wednesday he stated that he would make Byas a livable city. Urmila Thapa, a Constituent Assembly member, and Krishna Pokhrel, a magazine distributor, officially opened the office.
He has allegedly bargained for tickets from the Nepali Congress. It is reported that even if they do not receive tickets, they will participate in free elections.
