Global IME Bank’s Extension Counter in Lamjung’s Hile Bazar

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 5 – Global IME Bank Limited has started a new extension counter in Hile Bazar, Dordi Rural Municipality of Lamjung district from Monday. The counter has been jointly inaugurated by Om Bahadur Gurung, Chairperson of Dordi VRural Municipality and Dil Bahadur Ghale, Vice-Chairperson.

With the opening of extension counters in Hile Bazar, the number of extension counters of the bank has reached 50.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson Gurung expressed happiness over the operation of the extension counter by the bank. He also said that he was ready to provide all necessary assistance to the bank to expand its services in rural areas.

Similarly, Vice-Chairperson Ghale thanked the bank for operating the extension counter and said that the bank’s support was needed to increase financial literacy in rural areas.

Ward Chairperson Tul Bahadur Ghale said that the residents of wards 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the Rural Municipality and some wards of Besisahar Municipality would benefit from the banking service while operating the extension counter.

The event was attended by a large number of local people representatives, representatives of various government offices and schools, businessmen and locals.

The bank has been providing services to more than 2.8 million customers across the country through 288 branches, 274 branchless banking services, 256 ATMs and 3 foreign representative offices.
