KATHMANDU: APRIL. 5 – Rain is expected to fall in certain parts of Nepal today, according to meteorologists. Thunder and lightning are possible in one or two places in the mountainous parts of Bagmati and Gandaki, as well as in some places in the hilly sections of State 1, according to the Department of Water and Meteorology.
In the hilly portions of State 1, Bagmati State, and Gandaki State, there will be partial to moderate cloud cover, and there will be partial cloud cover in other locations. The weather will be mostly clear in other regions of the country, with a partial to moderate change in the steep terrain of State 1 tonight, according to the department.
According to the department, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places of the hilly terrain of State 1.
Wednesday
Afternoon: There will be partial to normal cloud cover in the hilly terrain of State 1 and partial cloud cover in other parts of the country. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning in some places of the hilly terrain of State 1.
Night: There will be partial to normal change in the hilly terrain of State 1 and there will be partial cloud cover in other parts of the country. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning in one or two places in the hilly terrain of State 1.
Thursday
Afternoon: There will be partial to normal cloud cover in the hilly terrain of State 1 and partial cloud cover in other parts of the country. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning in a few places in the hilly terrain of State 1 and in one or two places in the hilly terrain of the rest of the State.
Night: There will be partial to normal change in the hilly terrain of State 1 and there will be partial cloud cover in other parts of the country. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning in one or two places of the hilly terrain of State 1, Bagmati State and Gandaki State.
