As election approaches near, ‘screen print’ trader seems busy [Photos]

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 3 – As the local elections approach, the number of ‘screen print’ traders in Bagbazar has increased.

With the announcement of the local level election on May 13 by the Election Commission, screen print traders have been busy creating election promotional materials such as party flags, election symbols, hats, and t-shirts. Previously, they had free time, but now they say they are busy from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

According to a local trader, there are currently 3-4 workers in the shops, but by the first week of Baisakh (April/May), 7-8 workers are required.

Since, there is a high demand for such propaganda materials during the election, traders are already preparing them.
