Two injured in Dailekh stabbing

SURKHET: APRIL. 3 – A sharp weapon (sickle) attack in Dailekh has injured two people. Gopal Sarki, 25, of Pangkot in Dungeshwor Rural Municipality-5, has injured two persons of the ward.

At around 9 p.m. on Saturday, Gopal attacked Gagan Sarki, 24, and Karna Bahadur Sarki, 29, with a sharp weapon during an argument after consuming alcohol.

Gagan Sarki suffered serious head injuries and Karna Bahadur Sarki suffered serious back injuries in the attack, and both have been transferred to Karnali State Hospital in Surkhet for treatment.

Police started a further investigation after taking Gopal under control.
