Chelsea’s embarrassing defeat, Manchester United stopped
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 3 – Manchester United have been held to a draw after London club Chelsea suffered a humiliating defeat in the English Premier League. Despite taking the lead at home, Chelsea suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Brentford.
For Brentford, Vitaly Janelt scored twice and Christian Eriksen and Yoane Wissa scored. Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger’s goal was a consolation. With this victory, Brentford is in 14th place with 33 points from 31 games. Defeated Chelsea are still in third place with 59 points from 29 games.
Manchester United drew 1-1 with Leicester City in last night’s game. Fred scored one goal for Manchester United and Kelechi Iheanacho scored one for Leicester City.
Cristiano Ronaldo of United did not play in this game due to injury. Following the draw, Manchester United have 51 points from 30 games and are sixth in the league. Leicester are ninth with 37 points from 28 games.
