KATHMANDU: APRIL. 2 – Former World Cup champions Spain and Germany are in the same FIFA World Cup group in Qatar in 2022. In the draw held in Qatar on Friday, Spain and Germany were both assigned to Group E.
Hosts Qatar, the Netherlands, Senegal, and Ecuador are all in the same group. England will also face the winners of the playoffs in the US, Iran, and Europe. In the playoffs, Wales will face the winners of Scotland and Ukraine.
Previous winners France will face Denmark, Tunisia, and the winner of the first intercontinental playoff game. The winners of Australia and the UAE will face Peru in the playoffs.
Argentina’s group includes Mexico, Poland and Saudi Arabia. Brazil, Serbia, Cameroon and Switzerland will compete in the same group. Portugal, South Korea, Ghana and Uruguay are in Group H.

Belgium, Morocco, Canada and Croatia are in Group F. In Group E, Spain and Germany will play alongside Japan and the winner of the second intercontinental playoff. Costa Rica and New Zealand will play in the second intercontinental playoff.
