Deuba-Modi are inaugurating these four projects today

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 2 – During his three-day official visit to India, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi are holding bilateral talks. Deuba and Modi will hold two rounds of talks at Hyderabad House in New Delhi today.

Deuba and Modi will hold small group talks in the Nilgiri Room of Hyderabad House from 11:15 am to 12:15 p.m. After that, there is an agenda for high-level delegation-level talks from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm. After the talks, the two prime ministers are scheduled to inaugurate four projects and hold a joint press conference.

These four project inaugurations:-

  • Inauguration of 35 km long cross-border rail link from Kurtha of Nepal to Jayanagar of India built with Indian assistance.
  • Progress observation and inauguration of 132 health posts reconstructed after the earthquake
  • Inauguration of 90 km long Solu Corridor 132 KV transmission line project constructed with a concessional loan of Rs. 3 billion 200 million from India and handed over to the Government of Nepal.
  • Rupee card operation launched between Nepal and India
