Khand been given the responsibility of acting prime minister

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 1 – Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has been given the responsibility of the acting prime minister.

Following the departure of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on a three-day visit to India, Home Minister Khand has assumed the role of acting Prime Minister.

According to the President’s Office, Home Minister Khand has been assigned the responsibility of handling the day-to-day administration of the Prime Minister in his absence.

After Prime Minister Deuba, Home Minister Khand is in preference.
