KATHMANDU: APRIL. 1 – Prime Minister Deuba has left for a three-day visit to India.

He left for India at 1:15 pm on Friday. Prime Minister Deuba has left for Delhi, India, leading a four-member Nepali delegation.

Earlier, he was escorted from Tribhuvan International Airport by a Nepal Army team. Speaker of the House of Representatives Agni Prasad Sapkota, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, and other leaders were present to bid the Prime Minister farewell.

Prime Minister Deuba will spend three days in India. He will land at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi at 2:50 pm Indian time today. He will then stay at the ITC Maurya Hotel in Chanakyapuri.

At 4.30 p.m. today, Prime Minister Deuba will meet with Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Security Adviser Ajit Doval. Deuba will then arrive at the central office of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party at 5 p.m.

Following that, he will attend a dinner hosted by the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi. On Saturday, Prime Minister Deuba will meet with his counterpart, Narendra Modi. On Sunday, he is scheduled to return home via Varanasi.
