Price of gold & silver rises up

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 1 – The price of Chhapawal gold in circulation today has increased by Rs 800 per tola and is set at Rs 99,700 in the gold and silver market. The previous day’s price for the yellow metal was 98,900 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs, the current price of Tejabi gold is 99,200 per tola. Its price was 98,400 per tola on Thursday.

Similarly, according to the federation, the price of silver today increased by 10 per tola over the previous trading price and reached 1,360 per tola.

On the international market, gold is currently trading at around $1,936 per tola.
