Partnership agreement between Laxmi Bank & ICICI Bank

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 1 – Laxmi Bank Limited and India’s ICICI Bank Limited have agreed to expand their business partnership.

Ajay Bikram Shah, CEO of Laxmi Bank, and Ranjan Kumar Thapa, Chief Representative of ICICI Bank in Nepal, signed the agreement.

As per the agreement, traditional inter-bank payments between Nepal and India as well as QR payments will facilitate the expansion of remittance payments between the two countries.

The agreement is also expected to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the two banks in various fields including human resources, technology and operations.
