Lumbini Bikas Bank provides financial assistance to school
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 1 – Lumbini Bikas Bank has provided financial assistance to Janata Aadharbhut Vidyalaya in Lalbandi-11, Sarlahi Hirapur under its corporate social responsibility program. The bank has handed over Rs 50,000 in cash to the school.
The bank’s Madhesh State chief Mohan Raj Giri handed over the cheque to the school’s principal Shatrudhan Mahato. Mohan Raj Giri said that he was happy to help in the construction of well-equipped toilets at Shree Janata Basic School.
Expressing gratitude for the assistance provided by Lumbini Bikas Bank, the school principal Shatrudhan Mahato said that the school would spend money on construction of toilets for the students.
The program was attended by Aashish Kumar Bhattarai, Branch Manager of Lalbandi Branch, Dayaram Gautam and Dipti Adhikari and Laxmi Shiwakoti, Head of Education Branch of Lalbandi Municipality, Umesh Mahato, Ward Member of Ward No. 11 and Sangram Singh Gole, Former Chairperson of School Management Committee.
The school currently has 253 students. The school has been operating since 2035 BS.
