PM Deuba leaving for Delhi today
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 1 – Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Prime Minister of Nepal, is leaving for India today. Deuba is visiting India for three days at the invitation of his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi.
Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to land at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 2:50 p.m. local time. S. Jaishankar, India’s External Affairs Minister, will meet Deuba at 4:30 p.m. local time at the Hotel ITC Maurya.
Deuba is scheduled to reach Rajghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s tomb, at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday to lay flowers. On Saturday at 11:10 a.m., Deuba will meet with Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, at Hyderabad House. In addition, at 12:15 p.m., there will be a program at Hyderabad House to exchange agreements and issue press statements.
On the same day, Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to hold a courtesy meeting with the Indian Vice President at 4:30 pm on Maulana Azad Road. Deuba will reach Varanasi on Sunday at 9 am and will participate in the program there.
After concluding the program in Varanasi, Deuba will return to Delhi at 4 o’clock. After the visit, Deuba is scheduled to return to Kathmandu at 4:15 p.m.
