KATHMANDU: MARCH. 31 – According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally as of Wednesday afternoon was 1,118,559.

The ministry said 25 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

During this time, 3,623 swab samples were tested using the RT-PCR method, with 24 of them returning positive results. Similarly, 1,328 people were tested for the virus’s antigen, with an additional one people testing positive.

Another 89 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, while the government claims there have been no COVID-19-related deaths. Similarly, Nepal’s death toll to risen to 11,951.

So far, 965,394 people have recovered out of the total number of cases. There are currently 1,081 active cases across the country.

In the meantime, 60,260 people were vaccinated today.
