NEPSE fell by 23 points, with a turnover of Rs 1.89 billion
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 31 – The share market fell by double digits on Thursday, the last trading day of the week. On this day, the NEPSE index of the share market fell by 23.95 points to 2544.30 points.
The Sensitive Index, which tracks the trading activity of Class A companies listed on the NEPSE, fell 4.60 points to 475.47 points.
A total of 37 lakh 87 thousand 45 shares of 228 companies were traded at Rs 1 billion 890 million 1 lakh 64 thousand 6 hundred 86 rupees on this day. On this day, the group index of all groups except trading has declined.
On this day, the share prices of 164 companies fell. Only 28 companies’ share prices have increased.
The share price of Emerging Nepal, which has been steadily rising in the market every day, increased by 10% on Thursday. Similarly, the share prices of companies such as Rastra Utthan Laghubitta, NESDO Sambridha Laghubitta, United Mardi, and Bottlers Nepal Terai have increased.
Share prices of companies like Narayani Development Bank, United Modi, Union Hydropower, Karnali Development Bank have declined.
