Thakali elected as Mustang Chairperson of CPN-UML

POKHARA: MARCH. 31 – Aash Bahadur Thakali has been elected as the Mustang Chairperson of CPN-UML.

From Mustang’s seventh convention, a new committee led by Thakli was unanimously chosen. He was elected chairperson of the Gharpajhong Rural Municipality.

Ramesh Gurung has been elected as the vice-chairperson of the 90-member committee, Binod BC as the secretary, Chhiring Lhamo Gurung and Chhewang Gurung as the deputy secretaries. Indra Dhara Bista, MP and UML leader, announced that the office bearers were chosen from all municipalities.

The first meeting of the newly elected convention committee has also taken place. The meeting decided to launch a campaign in the upcoming election to elect UML at all local levels.
