Thapa elected as chairperson of RPP Makwanpur
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 31 – RPP Makwanpur District Working Committee Chairperson Shivaram Thapa has been elected. A party meeting in Hetauda elected Thapa as chairperson and formed a new working committee.
According to spokesperson Bishwa Adhikari, the meeting concluded that Makwanpur should remain committed to the party’s policies, ideas, and principles, including the restoration of the monarchy and the Hindu nation, and should not support escapism that deviates ideologically. The meeting also decided to hold a general assembly on April 10 in Hetauda.
The general assembly will be addressed by Chairperson Rajendra Lingden. During the meeting, RPP leader Madhu Adhikari stated that the people have become dissatisfied with the big parties’ inaction.
Shivaram Thapa, the newly elected chairperson, stated that he would leave RPP successful in the local elections regardless. Previously, after RPP Makawanpur Chairperson Guru Prasad Sapkota and other leaders and activists joined the party led by Kamal Thapa, a new working committee was formed.
