KATHMANDU: MARCH. 31 – Nepal takes on Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the third match of the ongoing tri-nation Twenty20 series today at home. The match will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the TU Cricket Ground.

Nepal, captained by Sandeep Lamichhane, hopes to advance to the finals with a win over PNG today. “Our goal is to win four games in a row and win the series at home,” said captain Sandeep following Wednesday’s victory over Malaysia.

Nepal defeated PNG by 15 runs in the first match of the series, and Malaysia by 6 wickets in the second match on Wednesday. Nepal leads the table with four points from two games.

PNG has not been able to add points in two games. PNG is at the bottom.

Malaysia is in the second place of the table with 2 points after 2 wins and 1 loss in 2 games.
