KATHMANDU: MARCH. 31 – A meeting of the ruling coalition is being held to formulate a strategy for the local elections.
The meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
Chiranjeevi Adhikari, senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel’s personal secretary, stated that a coalition meeting would be held to discuss local level election preparations, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s visit to India, and current political developments.
The Nepali Congress Central Committee decided that the Nepali Congress would coordinate with the ruling coalition parties based on local needs. A coalition meeting is being held today for the first time since then.
