Two killed, one injured in Sundarijal tipper collision

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 30 – Two sisters have died when a tipper hit them at Sundarijal in Gokarneshwor Municipality of Kathmandu.
They were on their way to school this morning on a motorcycle with Father Rohan Tamang when they were hit by a truck. Shristi Tamang, 8, and Shreya Tamang, 4, have been identified as the victims.
According to Bishal Tamang, a police inspector at the Metropolitan Police Circle Boudha, they died on the spot. They were students of the World Youth International School. According to him, a sand tipper (Ba 4 Kha 6965) collided with the motorcycle (Ba 51 Pa 8733).
Father Rohan, who was critically injured in the accident, was taken to Nepal Medical College in Attarkhel for treatment. The tipper driver fled the scene of the accident.
A tense situation has been created at the scene.
