Liquor dealer Amit Agrawal released on bail

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 29 – Amit Agrawal, a green line operator who was imprisoned for banking offenses, has been released on bail.

On March 4, the Patan High Court granted him bail in the amount of Rs 4.5 million. He was imprisoned, however, for failing to pay bail. He was released after paying the bail.

On a complaint of cheque bounce, he was arrested by a team from the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police. He has not been able to repay even the bank and relative loans.
