Victory of Maoists is victory of ‘constitution’: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 28 – Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ the chairperson of the ruling coalition party Maoist Center, has stated that the election is not just for the Maoists. The election, according to Prachanda, was a “fight” for the Maoists.

“It’s more than just an election for us,” he said upon his arrival in Rolpa on Saturday. We fought with guns yesterday, but now we don’t have any. ‘However, it is a battle we have fought even now.’

Prachanda believes that if the Maoists win, the constitution will triumph. “Only if the Maoists win will the constitution and the law triumph,” he stated. “The reactionaries will win if we lose and others win.” To defend the constitution, the Maoists must win.

In a different context, Prachanda has claimed that the Maoist center will save the country from disaster.
