Price of drinking water risen in Birendranagar
SURKHET: MARCH. 28 – The price of processed pure drinking water has risen in Surkhet’s Birendranagar. On Sunday, a meeting of processed drinking water producers decided to hike the price of drinking water beginning on Chaith 15 (March 29).
According to Karnali State Water and Beverage Operator Abinash Thani, jar water has been fixed at Rs 450 per jar, Rs 400 per jar and Rs 400 per dispenser. Similarly, the price of bottled water has been fixed at Rs 75 for wholesale and Rs 60 for wholesale and Rs 180 per liter of bottled water.
The drinking water companies in Birendranagar have also decided to form business associations in order to advance industrialists’ rights and interests.
Jai Shree Processed Water Industry, Midwest Water, Karnali State Water and Beverage, RR Drinking Water, Tilakarnali Processed Drinking Water Industry, and Boudha Rural Processed Drinking Water Industry are all in operation in Birendranagar.
