KATHMANDU: MARCH. 27 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 23 more people in Nepal.

COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 15 people during 3780 PCR tests conducted in the country and 8 people in 1442 antigen tests.

Of total tests, 0.39 per cent of the PCR and 0.55 per cent of antigen samples returned positive, keeping the overall per-day positivity rate at 0.44 per cent.

Another 215 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, while the government claims there have been no COVID-19-related deaths.

Currently, 1,558 active infected people are in isolation in Nepal.

Meanwhile, 24,691 people were vaccinated today.
