Demand for dismissal of Finance Minister raised in the Congress Central Committee

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 27 – A meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Committee has demanded the dismissal of Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.

At a Central Working Committee meeting in Sanepa, Congress central member Prakash Snehi demanded that Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba dismiss Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.

He demanded the resignation of Finance Minister Janardan Sharma, citing the widening trade deficit, slowing economy, and lack of reform efforts.
