‘RRR’ broke the record of ‘Baahubali 2’
KATHMANDU: MARCH. 27 – The much-awaited Telugu film ‘RRR’, which has been released since Friday, is also performing enthusiastically in Nepal. Even on the second day of the show, all the shows have been housefull.
The film, which has an investment of Indian Rs 5.5 billion, has earned Rs 223 million on its first day. According to the data released by the RRR manufacturer, it has earned Rs 156 crore from India and Rs 670 crore from abroad. ‘Bahubali 2’ had earned Rs 217 crore on the first day. ‘RRR’ has also broken the record of ‘Bahubali 2’.
The film has been screened in various countries including India, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Nepal since Friday. The film had already grossed over Rs 1 billion from copyright sales of digital platforms and satellite broadcasts.
The period action drama genre film has Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgan, Alia Bhatt and other actors in the lead roles. This is Ajay and Alia’s first South Indian film. ‘RRR’ was screened simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and other languages on more than ten thousand screens.
