UML Standing Committee to meet to devise an election action plan

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 27 – The main opposition party UML’s Standing Committee will meet for the first time today. The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. at Maharajgunj’s Royal Durbar Restaurant and Venue.

According to Bishnu Rijal, Deputy Chief of the Central Publicity Department, the meeting will focus on the upcoming local elections.

According to him, the meeting will also make a plan to mobilize the party ranks in the election by developing a concrete action plan centered on local elections based on the issues passed by the Central Committee’s recently concluded third meeting.

The UML Standing Committee has 45 members, including four ex-officio members and four office-bearers.
