Local Elections: Who is the Returning Officer in your municipality? (with list)

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 27 – For local elections, the Election Commission has appointed a Chief Electoral Officer and an Election Officer.

District judges have been made chief election officers in 77 districts, while election officers have been appointed in municipalities.

The commission has mentioned in the Gorkhapatra that the Chief Election Officer has been appointed. The local-level election is being held on 2079 BS Baisakh 30 (May 13, 2022).

Before going to the assigned location, the Chief Electoral Officer and the Election Officer will attain orientation. With effect from April 12, the Election Commission has decided to appoint a Chief Election Officer and an Election Officer.

According to the commission, they will be given an orientation on election management as well as an appointment letter in the same program.
