Solukhumbu: More than 103 UML & Unified Socialist leaders entered Maoist center

SOLUKHUMBU: MARCH. 25 – More than 103 UML and UCPN (Maoist) leaders and cadres have entered the Maoist center in Solukhumbu. On Friday, they entered the party in the middle of a program at Shivtar Bazar in Sotang Rural Municipality.

Bhim Raj Rai, a member of the UML district committee and the state tourism board, and Juddha Bahadur Karki, a member of the UCPN-M state committee, are among those who have joined the party.

Rai Sotang, a newcomer, is regarded as an influential UML leader, while Karki is the former leader of the UML, a united socialist party.

Leaders such as Ashim Rai, coordinator of the Maoist Center in Solukhumbu, Hem Kumar Rai, federal MP from Solukhumbu, Gombu Sherpa Karjyang, and others have welcomed them.
